Empress 2 veneer and E.max Press are custom-made from compressed layered ceramic. The veneers have the same colour transition and transparency as the natural teeth.
The Empress 2 veneers have a distilled framework with an overlying compressed, sintered glass-ceramic, while E.max Press veneers have a lithium disilicate glass-ceramic. The Empress 2 veneers undergo higher compression during manufacturing, while E.max Press coatings are thinner.

This veneer option is custom-made from glass-ceramic combined with zirconium for more strength. Zirconium has a slightly higher light-transmitting property than other veneer materials, making this veneer hardly distinguishable from natural teeth. This veneer also has a higher resistance to breakage because the material has a homogenous and fine structure.

However, this veneer is not ideal for the anterior teeth, damaged or chipped teeth. The dental physician will attach the dental lumineer to the teeth with a special dental bond.
